Who is gooseartworks…
A versatile and innovative designer with over 25 years’ experience in art working, retouching, designing, advertising, web design, and large format graphics.

Where did it all begin…

I started small, at a local design studio in Essex in 1987 and quickly progressed to the big world of Fleet Street, working for one of the UK’s biggest tabloids, The Daily Mirror. Developing into an accomplished compositor on the Mirror Groups various publications, I then transferred to the scanning department of the European, the first national European newspaper, where I started to work with colour and images.

What happened next…
Since then, I have worked on magazines as diverse as Smash Hits, Q, Bella, What Car and Sight in Sound to major music industry labels Sony, WEA, Universal, Island, Virgin & EMI, dealing with the advertising sphere’s tight commercial deadlines.

Managing a team…

Throughout my career, I have worked as a production manager at a London repro company. This gave me
the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with clients, ensuring my team met all deadlines whilst always producing work to meet and exceed
customer expectations.
